KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
VAT issueing and VAT verification
Issue invoice including VAT invoice, on line verify invoice including VAT invoice and import invoice, reconcile sales invoices between SAP record and invoices issuing; reconcile purchasing invoice between SAP recode and on-line verification; ensure the invoice issuing and deductible compliance with tax regulation; ensure the invoice issuing and deduction is timely and effective.

Tax Accounting and Tax Returns
Prepare tax returns including export tax return and monthly tax return, conduct tax calculation including VAT and local surcharge etc. prepare tax reports/analysis within required schedule; prepare relevant tax accounting documentation in order to ensure compliance with TE’s Corporate policies and tax regulations; prepare the tax account reconciliation; ensure the tax accounting treatment is reasonable and valid.

Non-trade tax payment and tax advisory
Prepare non-trade tax payment, ensure the effective communication between tax authority and business unit, ensure the non-trade tax payment application submission is timely and accurate. Provide tax advisory to business units and controllers; keep abreast of China tax laws and regulations.

Policies and Procedures
Research and study the updates on PRC tax regulations; communicate the policies with business units in case of enquiry/deviation in order to ensure relevant business units have a good understanding about latest regulatory requirements

Audit Support
Coordinate and support external and internal audits in order to ensure that audits are completed in a timely manner

Performance Improvement
Assist Tax (Senior) Manager in identifying potential areas for improvement, support the implementation of the initiatives in order to drive continuous optimization

Education, Technical Qualification & Experience
Bachelor degree or above in accounting, finance or other related field
More than 3 years of working experience in tax function, experience in Big 4 accounting firm or a shared service is preferred
Solid knowledge of PRC tax laws and regulations, US GAAP and CAS on tax treatments
Proficient in MS Office, familiar with ERP accounting module as a functional end user
Good command of written and oral English, good communication skills, integrity, accountability, logical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, ability to work under pressure
Good interpersonal and people management skills
