Logistics Supervisor/Manager

BU – Corporate Operations
Location – Waigaoqiao, Shanghai

Overview
This person is responsible to manage the warehouse (WGQ DC) operations including receiving, put away, picking, packing and shipping. And this person should maintain and keep improving the process to meet company requirements and achieve the productivity every year.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for execution of warehouse operation management. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. EHS management
o Implement the safety plan and monitor on daily basis to make sure a safe working environment in the DC
o Ensure DC operation meet external EHS regulations/requirements and internal EHS requirements
2. Warehouse operation management
o Lead warehouse operation team to provide warehousing services (inbound, outbound, storage, labeling) to reach BU / customers’ expectations: on time delivery, accurate delivery, packaging, labeling, etc.
o Establish and maintain standard warehouse operation processes and ensure warehouse staffs comply.
o Lead warehouse team to carry out continuous improvement plan to achieve the operation goals on quality, productivity, costs, etc.
o Coordination with transportation forwarders (inbound and outbound) to ensure a smooth hand over and on time delivery
o Manage 3PL service provider (if any necessary) to meet operation requirements
3. People management
? Maintain capacity plan for warehouse operation team and ensure the right resource for the operation
? Lead shift leader/team leader and the operation team to conduct the job required
? Adjust and optimize shift arrangement to meet both operation requirement and Legal requirement (OT policy)
? Develop team multi-skills to improve team competency and flexibility
? Evaluate operation team performance and motivate the team to keep improving

QUALIFICATIONS:
? The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering with at least 5 years related experience in warehouse management, logistics or shop floor management. High Tech/Electronics manufacturing environment is a plus.

Additional qualifications include:
? Knowledge of Logistics/ DC operations and processes
? Knowledge of in WMS, SAP preferred
? Strong people management skills, especially working with the warehouse operators. Experience of dealing with warehouse people for complex topics is a plus
? Good communication, problem solving
? Good presentation and communication skills, including ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
? Strategic thinking, team player
? Ability to multi-task and local/regional business acumen
? Fluent in English preferred
